1. Who We Are

PixWedding is a digital disposable camera service for events operated by Elite Systems s.r.o., a company registered in the Czech Republic (IČO: [your registration number]). Our registered address is [your address], Czech Republic.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service:

  • Account holders: email address, name (optional), and authentication provider (Google or magic link).
  • Event guests: a randomly generated guest ID stored in your browser's local storage. No account or personal data is required.
  • Photos: photos and videos you upload as part of an event. These are stored on Cloudflare R2 infrastructure.
  • Payment: billing data is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store payment card details.
  • Analytics: anonymous usage data via PostHog and Google Analytics, subject to your cookie consent.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and operate the PixWedding service.
  • To send sign-in links and transactional emails (e.g. payment confirmations).
  • To improve the service through anonymised analytics.
  • To comply with legal obligations under Czech and EU law.

4. Legal Basis (GDPR)

We process personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Contract: to fulfil the service you have paid for or signed up to use.
  • Legitimate interest: to detect abuse, ensure security, and improve the product.
  • Consent: for analytics cookies, which you may accept or reject via the cookie banner.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Cloudflare R2 — photo and video storage. Data is stored in the EU region.
  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant. See stripe.com/privacy.
  • Google (OAuth & Analytics) — sign-in and optional analytics. See Google Privacy Policy.
  • PostHog — product analytics (EU-hosted). See posthog.com/privacy.
  • MongoDB Atlas — database hosting (EU region).

6. Data Retention

  • Event photos are stored for 12 months from the event date, then permanently deleted.
  • Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
  • Payment records are kept for 7 years as required by Czech accounting law.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

As a data subject under EU/GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Object to or restrict processing.
  • Data portability.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority (ÚOOÚ) at uoou.cz.
